The Rougaroux is the Iron City’s go-to food destination for authentic Creole/Cajun food. We've got two locations, one in the Forest Park neighborhood in a historic 1800's era Pink House and the other in Mountain Brook Village. Both offer indoor and covered outdoor seating. We serve real deal po’boys, gumbo, housemade boudin and more. Our kitschy locations, lively bar and fun staff make for a wonderful experience every time you walk in.

Both of our owners have a special place in their hearts for New Orleans and are service industry veterans, each having over 20 years of experience in the business. Ed Stacey is a restaurateur that specializes in concept development, restaurant operations, fresh seafood wholesale and specialty meat distribution. Ryan Champion is a professional chef with stints all over the United States, including Michelin Star restaurants, locally at Bottega Restaurant and years at creole icon, Commander’s Palace.
